# Start Earning

**Start Earning in 5 Simple Steps**

1. **Connect your** [**wallet**](https://docs.pluto.so/protocol/start/wallet-setup) – it's quick and easy!
2. **Choose** [**Earn**](https://app.pluto.so/earn) from the menu and find the asset you'd like to invest in.
3. **Click Deposit** when you’re ready to move forward.
4. **Enter the amount** you wish to deposit.
5. **Sign the transaction** with your wallet. Don’t forget there’s a small [blockchain fee](https://docs.pluto.so/protocol/fees/solana) (you’ll need a little SOL, even if you're investing in other assets like USDC).

That’s it! Once the transaction is complete, you can head over to the [**dashboard**](https://app.pluto.so/dashboard) to check your balance.

Earn is a low risk lending product. You can deposit anytime, withdraw anytime. 

**Be aware:** Similar to many other lending protocol, there is a chance that user might not be able to withdraw when not enough funds is left on the vault due to the high Utilization Rate.
